I have my conditonal job offer from my agency and all looks well. I am waiting on my psych and Medical to come in. The wait is killing me! Just curious if anyone else has gone through this? I guess most things are like this when you want something so bad and its right in your grasp.

That's the way the game goes. I actually had a department tell me that the conditional offer did not mean much except that it gives the department the ability to spend money to check you out, and the legal grounds to crawl inside your head. funny stuff... I have not heard Semper Gumby since getting out of the Marines 10 years ago LOL.... Were you Arty ? hahahaha...

Jeff, This is Rob. I think we took the medical together. The sergeant called me today. I was DQ'd via the psych. I wasn't told why. I suspect a concern over assertiveness. Good luck. Hope you hear soon. The wait was brutal. The call was worse for me. Unbelievable.

yes, Ladies the "wait" is over, and the weight has been lifted! LMAO :) I guess the stress of all of this has made me quite the bad speller... At any rate, I got the job and start Thursday of next week ( bad spelling and all).

I appreciate the spelling lesson you guys are really on top of things LOL. I just wanted to say thanks for sharing all of your experiences I appreciate it. Oh, and Rob I am sorry you didn't get the position bud. I hope the best for you in the future. and to everyone else that is still in the process keep on working towards your goals because if this old man can do it so can you!
