I am curious to know, how would you rate the dept? I attempted to apply about a year ago, but ran into a snag trying to pull together all of the paper work prior to their open house. I am still interested in LE, but my soon to be wife thinks I should stay with IT. I personally hate IT, wouldn't care to never see another server or router again, I always had an interest in LE, but I have decided to go ahead try to do what I really want to do.
Can anyone advise on their recruitment process, about how long it takes, academy and such? I don't have any kids so the pay is not that big of an issue.
I also have 4 years AF, honorable discharge, and I' currently 33 (my how time flies) how does this rate with them?
