I'm not quite sure what to call this, but I found this video on youtube.com. It's like a really liberal organization that watches over the police to make sure that they don't do anything wrong... It's a really long video, I think 20 minutes. If you watch the entirety of the video I think you'd find it quite interesting. There is a bit of a confrontation between the police and the organization watching the police. I'm not quite sure what to make of it. I think they really shouldn't have been in the police officer's way. I think that her reaction wasn't undeserved, so much as harsh. I'm sure the video has been edited to show the organization in a more positive light. I'm new to these forums (1st post) so I'm sorry if this is something that has already been brought up.

Another c*o*p*w*a*t*c*h video. Blah!

Mr. Innocent decided to stand in the middle of the street in front of two crusiers running code to an officer needs assistance call, and then complains when he gets arrested.

Stupid video, i hate stupid people.

Sometimes i wish the cops could just leave a area and see what happens to the citizens who are so concerned.

Maybe then they would have respect for what we do

You know, I understand and can appreciate any group of citizens questioning the police- as long as they do it objectively. I have no problem explaining myself to a civilian- as long as it's after the fact, peaceful, and doesn't interfere with my job at the time.

How much more productive do you think it would have been if c.o.p.w.a.t.c.h, if they really were concerned about police-citizen relations simply invited the police to come by their "block party" and say "hi" or even participate if they were off duty or on their meal break?

How many from c.o.p.w.a.t.c.h are here to talk about it? None. Why? Because statements and ideas like mine go against the agenda of c.o.p.w.a.t.c.h: Build as much tention against the civilians and the police as possible.

Centurion 44,

Point taken! It seems more like cop-watch is more instigators than actual citizens being objective. Someone in cop-watch has an agenda.

As Forest Gump would say it: "Stupid is as stupid gets." :p

The Film was edited by the guy that was arrested.

I'm amazed.....if that situation happened in my city, all the citizens would have moved to the sidewalks, let the police cars through, and then continue on with their party.....and then NONE of this **** would have happened. I think they needed something to happen or else their "group" would not be needed.
