Anyone know anything about it? It recently caught my attention and I'm very interested. I allready have their website, so don't bother with that. Any other info would be great!

They rarely hire.....and when they do it is very, very competitive. I think the last class was last year and only 50 got in.......

I know when they are turned loose, they have some damn good equiptment.

They WP guy that worked in my community had a duty truck (F-150 with decals and LEDs), a nice boat (more of a bass boat), plus all kinds of gear. Most of the officers I know are all scuba qualified and have tons of boating expereince....

He pretty much set his own schedule but was out there weekend/holidays hitting it hard because that's when all the folks are out.....so if you want a family life, this isn't the job for it. He would also get called out for all boating accidents and water accidents in the area....no matter the time......or season of the year...

As for when the next class is.... I don't know. I am out in DC and out of the loop. My suggestion is to call them and ask....
