There is talk in our P.D. of switching from our ITI system and going with KCJIS. Anyone using the CJIS system now? if so what do you think about it. Does anyone use KCJIS and ITI is it a hassle or is it worth it never getting the little love letters from the KBI that are so fun to find in your box in the morning?
Thanks.

I havn't seen KJIS yet, but I hated ITI when I was in I-town. The bad thing is I hate the one at my new department even more! I can't win!

compared to our current system the ITI system was great. KCJIS is NOT user friendly.

With KCJIS would we lose all of our aquired database and have to start over? Is KCJIS just for doing KIBRS reports or does it also have a database for "general" reports.

The system we use is a database for a variety of things. The system is not all that bad once you learn where to find all the places they have put the required data. The biggest problem is trying to teach it to a new officer.
