Just wanted to pass on that a 9 year veteran detective of the Fairfax County Police Department was shot and killed by an 18 year male subject outside the Sully District Station. The assailant, Michael Kennedy, was also killed. Those in the law enforcement community have lost one of their own. A senseless and tragic death has come to pass.
