chula vista police chief?

I have a chief's interview with Chula Vista Police Chief, Rick Emerson. I do not know much about him or his goals for the department (San Diego's 2nd largest City). If anyone has any info I would really appreciate the feedback.

I can tell you that he is the chairman of the San Diego County Chiefs' and Sheriff's Assnciation. He's a very friendly person -- very well respected, as far as I know. If I learn more, I'll share it here.

I don't have any knowledge of that chief. But I can tell you that the best thing to do is to just be yourself. If you try to "baffle him with BS" he will undoubtedly pick up on it in a heartbeat.

Finally, a question I know something about,whew! He is cool, he's a runner( as in marathon running) and pretty cool. Don was right ,don't try to BS you way through the interview. If you try to second guess and try to "tailor" yourself to the dept. both of ya'll will be miserable if you get hired!

Chula Vista is a very cool city, with allot of room for growth, the city is expanding. Keep us posted?

Did you mean CV is San Diego county's 2d largest city, as San Diego is a city on it's own.
