Just to state it up front, I am not a Police Officer yet. I am going through the process now and actually might be getting my degree(CJ) before I get into the field. I have always enjoyed serving others and in some cases protecting them. I enjoy helping out people who are in need and I feel law enforcement is the field I have been called to, not only because of my personality and mindset - but also because of my spirituality. I feel it is something God has also placed in front of me as a way to serve humanity(in my life, but also in this profession).
I just wanted to introduce myself to the boards. I'm a 22 year old student in Topeka, Kansas. I am working on a CJ degree. I'm hard working, but am looking forward to a day when I am doing something that I believe I have a passion for as opposed to my part time jobs like mowing lawns, working gas stations, babysitting, dry wall, ect.
Just wanted to say hi and let the board know how much I respect all of you. I enjoy reading the forums and hope to learn a lot from my interactions with all of you.
