internships

Hey gys,
I want to do an internship w/ a law enforcement agency and was wondering if you knew of any police department/law enforcement agencies that hire interns in the Norfolk county

I work in Norfolk County and know of no agencies that have paid internship programs.

My dept, coincidentally in Norfolk County, has an internship program....but it is unpaid and is open to resident high school seniors only.

It is kind of pathetic if you ask me. :D

The only agency I know of of that has anything even remotely close to an internship would be Waltham PD, which has a cadet program where they work in-house doing administrative duties.

Also, i'm applying to do the State police week-long student trooper program this summer :)
you said your department offers an internship program...could you tell me what department you work in (or pm me)

For security reasons, I choose not to say where I work - however, unless you are a HIGH SCHOOL student in the town in which I work, they will not extended the program to you.

Oh yeah, BTW....Upton PD has a Cadet Program open to all under the age of 21. It is a pretty good program, I was a Cadet there until I was 21.

Lots of observations, traffic duties, and ride-a-longs. Definitely worth looking into if you want to.
