I just applied to this police department and will be taking the test on June 9th. Does anyone have any info about this department i.e. shift hours, overtime, morale, is the area a nice place to rock etc...

Rockwall is a small community. Very little crime, not much action. One of our guys went to work for them. He says that it is a good dept, but like I said before....alot on the slow side.

I used to work for the next county over and just like any otehr Department,have heard good and bad.Just gotta do some checking.I have actually went to a town I was interested in getting on with and checked the local paper for news articles,letters to the editors,went into a couple of stores and asked some questions like a tourist about the town and PD.Gotta do some Background checking on your own also.
