FAMs SWAT Team?

I see that the FAMs SWAT came in 2nd at one of the big SWAT competitions. That's great, very laudable, but.... with jurisdiction limited to aircraft in flight (an soon, perhaps, trains), why do they have a SWAT team at all?

So they say....but by the time they get there...the fun and games will probably be over because the local teams will be there doing the work....

Unless the laws have changed, the last time I checked, the only airport they had jurisdiction in was Dulles. Even there, the FBI claims primary LE authority.
