Nantucket summer special police officers

Anyone know anything about the general duties or job description of what these officers do?

I just turned down a f/t job with Nantucket PD. Residency is required and it costs way too much to live there.

For special summer officers, I think they have subsidized housing available for under $100/week.

It is a good opportunity for those who can afford to do it.
