I'll be there with you. I spent the last almost 3 months at the Prince William County Criminal Justice Academy. It's about time they got this thing going, if they had called off this one, I don't know if I would have walked away from PWCPD. I would have been at the half way mark with my class come April 4th. I turned in my resignation this morning. Got some great training with some great people and instructors. I just hope FLETC and Cheltenham are as good.

FLETC and Cheltenham are just as good if not better. Some of the best LE training I have had. But I can't say that USCP is going to be better then PWCPD. In case you guys haven't noticed, the Chief was basically forced to resign. Alot of changes are ahead......not for the better. Alot of officers have applications elsewhere. Morale is low. It's a shame because this could be a great department. Best wishes to you guys. FLETC will be a good time. Watch out for FLETC 5-0 down there. They are jerks.

Thanx Manstown....I gotta start somewhere right? At almost 36yo(July) my time is limited.

Ready to get this career started...Yesterday was my last day at my present job so 2 weeks till start day :)

Manstown would you happen to know if I could lateral into USCP? I have already been to FLETC Mixed Basic. I heared at one time that was the case but that was 2yrs ago. I know things change in the Govt. Any info thanks.

I think we do. But I think you couldn't have graduated from MBPTP over a year ago. Meaning graduation within the last year. Anything over that you go back.
