I have a question about a job....

Technical Operations Officer - 1801 i know it is an inspector b/c of the 1801.
pay is not bad $30k for gs-5, it is in Arlington, VA--

Does anyone have any info on the job and/or the area, im from FL and have never been north of N.C. thanks

From what I've heard....it's a pretty nice area...close enough to about what ever lifestyle suites you....as for the pay, $30k a year is kinda cheap for that area. Like I said, it is a nice area, but the cost of living is pretty high in the Fairfax, Arlington area. Thats about as much help as I can offer.

Rent for a one bedroom apt starts at around 1K a month for a decent place in a decent area......

no i live in orlando, fl, where a one bedroom is like $600.00 its cheap here, Probably not going up there unless ICE puts me there, hanging out here for a while, thanks for the info guys

Only way to get a $600 apt is to find a roommate.....and then 600 is way low. It would probably be a rat's nest.......

FYI...for low end jobs like that, Agencies are not going to move you.....unless specifically mentioned in the highering announcement...
