FF/EMT to Reserve LEO in Florida

I am a Firefighter/EMT and I am looking to become a Reserve Sheriffs Office Deputy in Brevard County, Fla. Does anybody know anymore info on how long it takes, duties performed, etc? :confused:

Go to local Community College pass the cjbat and all required tests, get accepted to the course pass the CMS Basic Recruit Training. Which is 6 to 9 months depending on day or evening classes. Oh I forgot to tell you to then take and pass the Fla. State test.

Yea, it was no walk in the park to get State FF1/2 Certified either, but if its what you love, you will do it!
