Ran into this website during one of my insomniac nights. Hubby is a cop and I work as a nurse in Southern Az. Just being nosey and reading the different posts. May get brave and throw in my 2 cents every so often. Hope you all stay safe.

Welcome, we can use all the "cents/sense" we can get. I am from Pa, but my wife and son are in Phoenix right now, visiting family. Whereabouts in southern Az. are you?

I live down in the Tucson area. Grew up in Mesa/Tempe though. Would love to move back there, but hubby not up for it.. :(

Is he a U of A fan, or ASU? I love it in the valley. My wife is from there, and has me hooked. I can go w/o snow. lol

He goes for U of A. I have never been in snow....Well I drove to Flagstaff before skiing season and there was patches of snow on the ground so i made a snowman that was about a foot tall. Other than that, I'm used to 60 degree winters.. burrrr I think it was 75 on Christmas day.

Hello from the Phoenix area. Future hubby is also a cop. We're getting married at the end of the month. I am an ASU grad 2 times over.

Where did you go to H.S.? Wifey went to the now defunct Scotsdale High, and then to Moon Valley. What P.D. does hubby work? I am P.S.P.

Sorry it took so long to respond... work kept me busy.. I actually went to high school in Apache Junction and lived in Gold Canyon. We called Scottsdale "Snobsdale" But I guess I can't really say anything now because I think Apache Junction now has the reputation as the meth capital of Arizona. I moved away right after high school... :cool:
