I'm a Special Agent in the U.S. Army CID. I will be getting out in Aug 06. I originally posted to find employment in Wyoming. I had some good results from that and even went out to do an interview. It was great. After the interview, I talked with my wife and we decided it would be better to stay in California for a while.

I have applied for CDC and am down to the last Psych Eval. I have to actually sit down with a Shrink and have a discussion. Anyway, I'm open for ideas. If anyone knows of a good opening, I would be most appreciative.

LASD is hiring big time as are most of the SD's in SoCal.

BTW, go to the link in my sig line for my academy notes.

There are plenty of LE jobs out here. You have to decide what location and what exactly you want to do ie Corrections, Sheriff's or Police.

I heard somewhere that this year, throughout California, all law-enforcement agencies combined (not including CDC) will need to hire 20,000 officers, but all of California's academies will only produce 10,000 graduates total. There are jobs out there, anywhere you want to work in any type of agency. In every county in NorCal, there are agencies hiring. Can't speak for SoCal, but I'd assume it's the same.
