county corrections

How long does it take normally from the time you take a test until the time you get hired? I am cross filing with other counties besides my own for the upcoming corrections exam.Won't be 21 until September.

Depends on the county. Some might start processing you right away, some may never call you back at all.

My corrections admin. class is going to the correctional facility sometime this semester. Would it be too pushy to ask the jail administrator how long? BTW,EMT firefighter, my cousin and her fiance are emt's with Thompson Health in Canandaigua. Anywhere near you?

Very cool. I know right where Thompson Health is - I took my Paramedic class at FLCC.
