A police sergeant in Winter Park, Fla., was demoted to officer after a strip club manager claimed he visited the business up to five times a night, according to a Local 6 News report.
According to an internal police investigation, Club Harem strip club manager Christy Bell said police Sgt. Randy Davison would drop by the club located on Lee Road in Winter Park, Fla., three to five times a night.
She said Davison dropped by so many times that several employees referred to him as "the stalker."
"A fellow police officer said he would see Davison's police car parked outside the strip club just about every night, sometimes multiple times a night hidden around the building," Local 6 reporter Mike DeForest said.
Bell said she became concerned when Davison rubbed her neck and shoulders and then kissed her on the lips. She said Davison made her feel like he was stalking her or watching her, according to the report.
"She is alleging that Sergeant Davison had been inappropriate with her and made comments with some casual touching," Winter Park Lt. Wayne Farrell said.
Police investigators said Davison violated several department polices, including conducting a bar check by himself and not telling a supervisor where he was during the alleged strip club visits.
"Being a supervisor, he is held to high standards," Farrell said. "And he is a role model for his employees and there is a question of whether good judgment was used."
Davison was demoted and given a written reprimand.
Davison said he only visited the club one time and claimed Bell reached out and kissed him. He never reported the alleged kissing incident, Local 6 News reported. Davison is married with several children.
