I changed my avatar. I hope no one is offended. It is a Masonic Emblem over the state of Indiana. I am proud to be a FreeMason, I am proud of what it stands for. I am proud of the man that FreeMasonry has helped me to become. Some might find this avatar offensive. ;), since many people do not know much about FreeMasonry, (although that subject has been beaten to death)

If you find this offensive let me know, I can remove it.......

Remove it???!!!

I can't come up with a single reason that the symbol of the FreeMasons and what they stand for would offend anyone.

If someone gets offended by that they can go pound sand. This avitar crap is getting out of hand, pretty soon some cat person it going to complain about my avitar.

When did we allow a bunch of school girls to join this forum?

I'm offended. Can you remove it please? And if you don't remove it voluntarily, I will contact Bodie who will contact the proper authorities. :D

I like the avatar, as I am fond of the Masons. All I know about them is my grandfather was one, and they did a wonderfully touching ceremony at his funeral. It brought a lot of comfort to me.

I am touched that you were touched by the ceremony. I conduct that ceremony for my Lodge, as well as another Lodge in my city. As a matter of fact, I am doing one tonite for the other Lodge.
Amazing enough, in my city, where there are five Lodges, there are only about 3 of us that have that ceremony committed to memory. When I give it, it is my hope that I touch someone, at least one, by my presentation.
Sorry for your loss...
