View Full Version : Interview Tomorrow in LA? (Suit Question) HELP
OK I'm driving from San Diego to LA for an interview. Of course I'll be wearing a suit but I don't want to wear it while driving which will take two hours. If I was to change inside the restroom at the Office, would that be ok or is that a big NO NO? Any ideas for changing into a suit before an interview would be helpful.

I'd say just take off the jacket and tie for the trip and put them on when you get there. You can slip into the restroom for a little freshening up when you arrive, but I'd recommend against actually changing there. Ya never know who might walk in...

You should be fine to actually drive to the interview in the suit, minus the jacket. Before you get there, just take a look at yourself and you should be fine. Good luck.

I'd bring the suit up with me and change in a gas station rest room or even the Staples which is close by to prevent excess wrinkles.

I would advise against changing there. Depending on which agency or department you are applying for, just to be safe, I'd assume they are watching you from the moment you pull into the parking lot until the moment you leave.

Wear your shirt and trousers for the drive. When you get to the interview location, slip on your tie and coat. You should be okay. Good luck.
