Anyone familiar with the Ted Blocker swivel holsters? Are they worth a damn for retention?

I have a Ted Blocker for my Glock 21 and for my S&W 4506. Both have been great, but they are not retention holsters, nor does the company claim they are.

If you need a retention holster, you'll probably have to stick with a regular belt mounted holster.

You might want to do a search this topic was covered pretty deep not to long ago. I have used one and it never lost a weapon, but I stopped because it just drove me nuts when I was on foot chasing someone. Ted's boys (he is retired) make some real good quality products and they have a real neat security strap that keeps the gun from being taken and is real easy to use to get the weapon out. But unless you ride a desk or NEVER get into foot chases, I'ld skip the swivel.

Check out www.TexShoemaker.com. Three of the SWAT guys that I work with have these low ride, swivel holsters and love them. They're comfortable and tactical.
