please pray for my mom

:( Hello Everyone,

I just found out 2 days ago my mother was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. She is a retired Philadelphia Police Officer. I am a Monterey County CA Deputy Sheriff so I am asking all of my brothers and sisters in law enforcement to please say a prayer for my mother, as she was one of us once. It is no doubt from her years of smoking so I would like to encourage all of you that smoke to quit for your own health. Also, if you have loved ones that smoke, encourage them to quit. This is one of those things you never think will happen to you or somebody that you know, and then all of a sudden one day........it does.

Hi I just wanted to let you know how truly Sorry I am for this tiding of bad news. Hold strong if she is going to get chemo it could help . In 2000 my grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer ..In late 2001 she beat it. Sadly just this past year she was rediagnosed with the cancer and she died December 26th. Your mom im sure if she starts soon enough can have a fighting good chance. I am truly sorry and your mom,yourself, and your family are in my prayers. God Bless

We're also watching my mother slowly deteriorate from lung cancer. She's very tough, but unfortunately, chemo is no longer working, so we're just enjoying this last bit of time with her, trying to make her last bit of time with her somewhat positive.

I have several family members that smoke, any my Sig. other smokes. I encourage them all to quit all the time.
