custom wooden baton

I carry a 26" straight wooden baton, but I am looking to get a heavier one. I remember when I was at the academy in Oakland, several officers there carried nice mahogany ones that were supposedly custom made by a local guy that does pool cues.... I would very much like to find out where I can have one made.... I've had no luck with google... any help appreciated...

where you at now? You can go up to Sacramento Uniforms (Sacramento, CA) that carries the cocobolo (sp?) wood or depending on where you are located, I'm up in the Sac area all the time, I can pick up and deliver to you if your in the SF bay area corridor.... Those batons are about 35.00 each.

I had two (2) of those and both were stolen, one from my unit, the other from the station... they were NICE!
