Hello guys, this is me again (4 Tickets?).
My original court date to plea was 1/11/06.
I sent in the tickets and plead Not Guilty, requesting a Supporting Deposition. (which I've never done before)
I just got back a letter stating my Court Date was still 1/11/06.
The part at the bottom that says whether I HAVE or HAVE NOT asked for a supporting depostition has a check mark right between both boxes.
(I can't tell which!)
It's now January 7th...how much time am I supposed to have?
Is there a lead time between getting a deposition and setting the court date?
I thought once you plead, they changed the date to a later time?

This sounds weird to me...but maybe it isn't.

It also states:
"Do not request an alternate trial date. There will be
NO ADJOURNMENTS! YOUR FAILURE TO APPEAR WILL RESULT
IN A SUSPENSIONOF YOU DRIVING PRIVELEGES."
(it actually IS written like that in caps)

Show up or face a warrant ..... Pay up on tickets and get it overwith.
You might be able to ask for a time frame to pay fines etc like 60 days if you can't afford them all at once.

I always just paid my tickets (last one was in '90), so a $50 speed doesn't grow into me bending for a lawyer at $300/ hour for to get me to not have to pay a $5o ticket. I have been told "you drive like an old lady", have had cars identical to my car tailgate me as I'm doing the speed limit of 55 or 65, but It's been 15 years since I've had a ticket, I tell them. :p :)

-not a cop-

I've been the same way since I got my ticket for 37/25. I've only been driving for a little over a year, but it's still long enough to know when to stop driving like an idiot. My friends give me crap all the time because I'm following them to a place and they want to do 15 over. Then they ask why I got lost.
