Does anyone know anything about the Lorain County Sheriff's Office? I have an interview with them this Sunday for their Auxiliary Deputy Unit. I haven't heard too much about them besides what I got from their website. So far I liked what I heard about them from the Captain that contacted me. Any more info. would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Ah, my neck of the woods. Lorain county is a good dept to get into. Pay is okay. Dept is pretty busy, and it's got just about everything as far as crime goes there. Professional outfit. At my dept, we call them LOCOSO :p

Thanks for the information. Well I had the interview a week ago, and about a few days later I received a letter in the mail saying I was accepted to start their upcoming Auxiliary Police Academy. I thought that was pretty fast.... I didn't get to see too much of the facility, at first when I was coming upon it, I saw the old prison in front of the active building and I was like "I bet that place is haunted and don't tell me that I have to go there!" :p

I used to work for the Lorain Police department and dealt with the LCSO on many occasions. They are a great group of guys. I worked for several of thier captains when they were with LPD. It's a good department to work for.
Good luck
