More importantly, has anyone NOT heard of this idiot? What a joke... I like his bit about how he's not armed because he doesn't believe in it. :D No, he's not armed because convicted felons can't own firearms. What a pieve of work this guy is...

Yea this guys old news already. I talked with a few guys that met up with him when they were in Colorado and nobody liked him.. I mean no one in the LE community liked him. I have respect for certain Bounty Hunters/Bailsbondsmen, but this guy is a joke.

Convicted felons "cant" own firearms...how bout they aren't "supposed to own firearms. The law says that you can't shoot a policeman...but I think I'll still wear a vest. Oh by the way...that bounty hunter show is dumber than hell...I think that's why people watch it..for the humour (I Hope). But then again some people still think all star wrestling is real (sorry if i ruined that for anyone, there's no santa clause either

You don't understand. Of course the people he's going after will break the law. I'm talking about DOG himself, the man is a convicted felon - he killed someone in Texas. He can't own a gun.

Well, the bottom line regardless is that he has two million dollars more than us for one year of his show. I guess thats better than being on welfare or committing crimes. Since you brought it up, when does a convicted felon regain the right to own or carry a gun? Through passage of time or a pardon from the governor?

Yeah, that's where his agency is located. Does anyone know what happened with him murdering the guy? I don't know the whole story.

If I recall correctly, he was the driver on a botched robbery that ended up with his partner(s) shooting and someone. I believe he was convicted of conspiracty to commit murder or being party to a murder. I believe that he was not the triggerman. FWIW.
I've watched the show on occasion. I liken it to the circus -- the clowns are entertaining at first, but after awhile they can become downright scary.
Dog's also the guy that captured some rich kid on the lam. Problem was, it was in Mexico. He spent some time in a Mexican jail for that (along with some of the camera crew that was accompanying him).

true, convicted felons cannot own or carry firearms legally. also, in hawaii, no one but law enforcement is allowed to carry a firearm.u can apply all u want for a CCW, but they wont approve it.

Thats what a lot of people don't understand about bail/bond industry. It appears that they are "getting scum of the street", but the only reason they are on the street is that they(the bail bonds guy) bond them out for a fee, which usually amounts to 10% of the actual bail amount.
When the suspect absconds and doesn't show up for court, the bounty hunter hunts them down to avoid paying the full bail amount (they are "bonded" to the court so to speak). All people caught by Dawg were lawfully arrested by real LEO's and were sitting in jail, untill they were bailed out through his company by paying the 10% fee.
If there were no bail bondsmen, then those charged with crimes would have to come up with the full bail amount, and a lot more would be sitting in jail instead of free to abscond or commit more crimes.

I know it would be heavy as hell and I'd probably end up with back problems, but I would love to carry that man sized OC on my belt! :D

BigIs72 the only guy whom I've ever heard echo my own sentiments. Dog and his inbred crew of trailer trash makes me sick. I just about threw up at the thought: Knucklehead commits crime. Knucklehead gets arrested. Knucklehead gets bailed by trailer trash, so he can commit more crime. Knucklehead doesn't show for court, so trailer trash locates knucklehead with information provided on bail application. Then trailer trash makes money filming the "capture", wooooooo.
And to top it all off, the Honolulu City Counsel gives trailer trash a Citizenship Award for his "service" to the community. That award could have been more appropriately given to the first real cop any one of those infinitely wise Counsel Members ran into walking down any street in Honolulu.
The trademark quote of any quality bounty hunter:

Your so right on that one. The show makes him look like he hunts them down for their crimes."This guy beats women, and you don't beat women." "We're going to hunt this guy down for beating women"
Truth is as stated above, he knew what they did as a crime before they bailed them out. He created a problem, and is pretending like he is doing the public a favor by solving it.
All about the $$$
