Any of you tan regularly?

I've been tanning about 3 weeks now every other day or every two days. My entire body has tanned or at least gotten pinkish a little, but for some reason my face doesnt. I've gone in long enough to actually get a burn on my torso, but my face just isn't phased almost.I can see little brown freckles forming, but my skin just does not color. Wtf can I do? When I tanned last year my face would color just as easily as the rest of my body..not sure whats going on :( I do use a lotion on my face that has SPF 15..could that be the culprit?

My advise to you is to do what I do:

1) Stop using the tanning beds.
2) Work the grave-yard shift. ...Permanently
3) On one of your days off, go on a long bike ride/Leaving your shirt on
is optional if you like the sexy farmers tan look.
4) Enjoy looking like a lobster.

Works for me everytime. Good luck!

I don't tan too well. Skin don't take to well to tanning beds, and trying to push it makes me itch all over; scratching like a Meth junkie. :o

I love women who tan regularily. :D But what about all the people who end up looking like alligators by age 35? Tanning ages the skin prematurily, ya know. :eek:

I'd lay off the sunblock. I tan on a semi-regular basis, especially when on night shift. I have problems getting the tops of my shoulders to tan, I guess because they don't really get direct light from the beds. That, however shouldn't keep your face from tanning...if its not the sunblock then I don't know. Maybe its the type of bed your using? Some have special sections on the top for tanning the face, maybe the bed has bad bulbs.(?)

Your problem is definitely the SPF 15 sun block. Find a lotion without SPF and your face will tan.

I only tan reguarly when its the summer time or if I am going on a cruise or some place hot.

I tanned to get ready for my cruise.
