If anyone knows anything about las vegas pd or vegas in general be share.. I'm thinking of moving from d.c. to vegas...good or bad move?

Good department, bad area. Area is growing WAY TOO BIG! Housing costs are going through the roof. If you're single, lots of T & A. If you're married or have children, that's not good. LVMPD covers all Clark County, though. Combination Sheriff's Office and city PD. Good pay & benefits, no state taxes.
