Final Step : Sheriff's 'OK'

Well, I am in the final throw of the background process (I have passed everything they threw at me and I got a conditional job offer). I have received my background investigator's recommendation for the job (yay). Now it's up to the Sheriff himself to OK me or not.

What are the chances the Sheriff will not take the B.I.'s recommendation?

I worry, I worry...

I agree. Unless you manage to screw up royally in the near future, I'm sure the Sheriff will almost certainly go with your B.I's reccommendation.
