Expect anything and everything from your background to what you ate for breakfast the day of the interview. There are many variables as to what can or will be asked during the interview. Just be aware of your surroundings and be prepared to answer all of the questions.

I want to make sure I have this right. You have done everything up to your medical and Chief interview? So you have had your oral boards, etc?

With our agency and like most, we have the "Dr." visits last, because we pay for them. So we are interested in the applicant so far. Our Chief's interview is brief and informal in some ways (wear a suit & tie still). Generally, that is where our Chief will tell you what he likes in his/her officers and what he expects. Generally, everyone comes out of his office with a smile and usually finds out they are hired.

Good Luck!
