View Full Version : NCSHP Trooper Down?

I don't know all of the specifics but my business partner told me that a NCSHP Trooper was shot this morning in Fayetteville, NC on a traffic stop. He said the news on the radio down there said that the two suspects have been apprehended. He said that the Trooper is listed in stable condition.

Does anyone else have information on this?

Go to www.wral.com...they have updated info. The trooper was shot along I-95 in Cumberland Co. Thank God he was wearing his vest!! Everyone please pray for him and be careful on traffic stops. You never know who you are going to stop. This one happened at 10:15am. Please wear your vests also!

Yeah I know. I don't know him, but anytime someone on the same agency or other agency close to home gets hurt/killed, its tough. :(

The trooper who was shot a few days ago is still recovering. He had some surgery and they say he is supposed to make a full recovery (hopefully). They caught the guy who shot him. The guy was on parole or something like that...think he already has like 2 felonies on his record. Bond was set at 1 million dollars. Please keep the trooper and his family in your thoughts.

The news here in the triangle was saying the the guy was on parole in Virginia for murder.

The shooter was one of our fine, upstanding turds. Convicted of homicide in 87...sentenced to 22 years, but through the wonders of parole, he was back out to be charged with homicide again in 94. Must of beat that one. He was wanted here on several outstanding warrants, the most serious of which was for aggravated assault.

My apologies to the NCHP that we weren't able to flush this turd before this happened. Our thoughts and prayers are with the trooper, and we all hope that North Carolina will do what wasn't done with this a-hole previously. :mad:
