Does anyone out there know anything about the job as a background investigator for USIS. I know this is a private company that is donig gov investigations.

Does anyone out there know anything about the job as a background investigator for USIS. I know this is a private company that is donig gov investigations.

One of the guys that works part-time for my PD does it. It's a unarmed job doing background checks on folks wanting to work for the US Gov.
He works out of his house and gets paid so many bucks per hour for what he does....
Only bad thing is going into the City and not being able to carry. And yes, you show up at a door of some ****bag to ask about his buddy trying to get a job pouring concrete on a GOV instillation/bldg and they are going to think you are the Police no matter what you tell them and things can get harry at times......

The only dealings I have had with USIS was in the box and I will say they are a top notch company. If you have the opportunity, take the job.
