Get something that means something really in-depth to you.... when you become a 65 year old woman with no teef left in her head, you should still be able to look at your ink every day and smile about it.

Approx 3 inches a few days ago in central Ohio. Most of it has been cleared off the roads, but there are still slippery areas. :eek:

Dayton Police Director Julian Davis and Montgomery County Sheriff Dave Vore said their agencies have not lived up to their vows to form a Regional Special Weapons and Tactics and Hostage Negotiation Team.

The leaders of the county's two largest law enforcement agencies have been discussing whether to disband the regional SWAT team, leaving them with the two teams they had before the regional team formed in 2003.

"I believe in the spirit of regional cooperation," Vore said. "It would be best to stay together, where we could utilize our resources to better service the citizens of Montgomery County."

Davis said regionalization is a beautiful concept. But he added, "To get it to work, you have to make sure you are paying attention to details. The egos of the SWAT members may eventually cause discord." He declined to point to specific egos.

The ego problem is exacerbated by friction over the agencies' differing approaches to handling a disturbance.

One problem, in the sheriff's view: The police department allows Lt. Robert Chabali to be both the SWAT commander and on-scene commander or incident commander

Two Brazilians Convicted In Death Of U.S Nun

BELEM, Brazil -- A jury has convicted two Brazilian men Saturday in the death of an Ohio-born nun who spent decades trying to save the Amazon rain forest.

The seven-member jury sentenced Rayfran das Neves Sales to 27 years in prison and Clodoaldo Carlos Batista to 17 years behind bars. Sales was charged as an accomplice.

Dorothy Stang was shot to death Feb. 12 in the heart of the Amazon rain forest. The 73-year-old was originally from Dayton.

Prosecutors said the man and an accomplice were paid $25,000 by a rancher to kill the nun.

Both defendants recanted earlier confessions during testimony Friday. Sales said he acted in self-defense. He said he thought Stang was reaching for a gun as she pulled out a Bible.

Batista said he did not know about plans to kill her.

As far as the weather goes I'm loving the snow. I'm a volunteer for the National Ski Patrol. I can't decide if I like the Ski Patrol because of all the FREE skiing or because I like the sight of broken people.

I love Hockey . It is just too cool .Went to a game tonight at Nutter Center ......huge fight broke out . Of course Jersey got wooped !

It`s a shame what the Buckeyes have had to go thru in the media b/c of Clarett .It too will soon pass though like everything else .In a year or so ppl will forget about all the drama .Buckeyes rule !!!!!!!!!!!!!
