Portland Oregon

Anyone work for or know anything about the Portland Police Bureau? Thinking about taking the exam but I have heard assorted things about the Bureau. Any information would be helpful.

I'd look across the border in Vancouver, WA. Good department (from what I hear, at least), great pay, decent size, no state income tax, much better politics than Portland. If you're just looking to get your foot in the door and get experience, and you want to stay in that area, Portland would be a good place to apply.
