Betcha there will be lots of openings at NOPD coming up. Those poor folks need all the (good) LE help they can get. Reading the news I want to cry and swear at the same time. :(

I heard the other day that a lot of officers turned in their badges because they lost everything there, don't want to live there anymore and felt that why should they risk their lives with these thugs running around shooting people just to restore order if their heart isn't in it anymore. Hard decision to give up what you love, but Im not in their position nor do I want to be. I'd support their thinking. I just pray that things work out down there. Its a shame to see that down there. Eerie feeling when you see whats going on down there, like you're watching a thrid world country go through tough times. :(
