FL State Firearms Qualification standard

FL has finally set a state standard for active officers. What does that mean? To most of you not much :) but to us retired guys it means that private gun schools can finally have a class to certify retirees as qualified according to the state certification. Once we do that we will meet the requirements of HR218.

Schools should start selling classes soon I would imagine.

Our own PD qualifies retirees once a year. They supply the .45 ammo. Anything else, we have to bring our own. We do a combat course.
