It is looked upon the same as any other non-LE job. If your record is clean and you can deal with people well, it would help. If you have interaction with the local PD and get good references from them that would help also.

If you start telling them that you bought a Crown Vic for driving to and from work they might hold it against you. If you aren't waving any "desperate wannabe" flags then it is as 72na55 said. It will just be looked at as a clean employment record.
