Mobile AL PD info??

I am originally from Alabama, and my wife and I are considering moving back there from Maryland, so I am interested in finding out some more info on Mobile PD. I've looked at their website, but if anyone out there has any inside experience and could hook me up with some good info it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I'm not sure what type of area you are accostumed to working but Mobile has some crazy spots. MPD often times has to assist with the housing area in Prichard which is very rough from my understanding. They have several precints and operate on rotating shifts. I've heard they were investigated by the feds but I'm not sure why. I trust the source however because her husband was involved in investigating them. That's about all I know.

Yea, I know some stuff about Prichard, but then again, I live in Prince Georges County Maryland right now. Not a huge difference in crime rate. :p
