I posted a previous message with no response. Does anyone know about Tampa Probation Officer Jobs? I may be hired soon and have a choice of which county to work. I don't know much about Florida and will be relocating.

I would aim towards either Tampa (Hillsborrough County) or Jacksonville (Duval County). Both areas I have spent time in during vactions property is priced at a reasonable rate and the cities are good in size.

Probation is Probation. A court job. Not law enforcement. Probation Officers generally are not a group we are directly involved with that much.

The Tampa area is expensive. If I remember correctly POs dont get paid all of that much. A 3/2/2 in a half way decent neighborhood starts at about 150,000 if your lucky. If your comming to Tampa, New Tampa, Wesley Chapel, and Land O'Lakes are nice new areas, Carrolwood is nice and a little cheaper as it is older.
