Can anyone offer some guidance on the hiring process, especially the physical fitness portion? Not too much specific info on the web. Thanks!

actually just took the written test 4pm this afternoon. they have an academy in september or around there and the next one after that isnt till march 06. the hiring process consists of the written (which is actually a video based test) for 2 hours then a post-test background interview. They will then determine whether you are "denied" "better qualified" or "highly qualified". After which your investigation will begin which will take from 2-7 motnhs depending on the applicant then polygraph. The physical fitness consists of 2 obstacle courses and several exercises (the only one i remember seeing was the arm strength and leg strength exercises). The officers told us today that the physical abilities isnt very difficult. Any other info PM me and i'll try to help you out because I learned a lot about them today.
