Lexington, Ky(background question)

Im in the final stages with the Lexington PD. I recieved a letter from the BI that told me where I now rank after completing the poly and background. According to the letter my background is done, but i have heard nothing from any of my references or present/past employers that they have been contacted. Does this make sense to anyone?

im also in the running for the lexington PD. i just recieved a leter with my final ranking and that the board would be making their choices very soon. all i know is that my current employer recieved a letter from the BI and that my neighbors were contacted as well. other than that i would say that your background check went just fine seeing how you did not recieve a letter saying that you were DQed from the process. good luck and hopefully we will be in the same class starting in Sept.
