Good God When Does Football Season Start

Is it just me, or does it seem like football season is taking FREAKING forever. I am going crazy watching CFL and Arena Football. Dear football gods bring it back please!!!! GO RAIDERSSSSSSSSSSSS

Hey a thread I can relate to!!!!!!!! We eat, sleep and breathe football! My dad played college football...Go VOLS!!!! My boys start football camp this week and my daughter starts cheerleading camp. We have high school games on Friday nights, our kids games on Saturday mornings, college games on Saturday afternoons and Pro on Sunday, Monday and Thursday. Thanksgiving weekend......don't even think about bothering us unless you're ready for some FOOTBALL!

I already feel like I need NFL rehab and the pre-season hasn't even started. A nuke could go off during a game and I wouldn't notice unless it messed up the TV reception.

Now judge me not, it's not like I'm totally absorbed during the season. I encouraged my wife to find a hobby during football season. As a matter of fact she just signed up at the gym to train with a personal trainer who looks exactly like the male model in the Bowflex workout ads and.... :eek: ummmmmmm, I gotta go....

I tried SOOOOO hard to watch CFL football, its just not the same..

I miss the excitement, crowd, and the smell of fresh cut sod. I miss bringin' the wood to whoever lined up across the ball from me. The teamwork and playing as one unit. I loved it when coach would win the coin toss and defer the ball so defense could set the tone for the game. Seeing the crowd go crazy when a great play was made or seeing coach chew a ref out for making a bad call.

Yes SIR!!!! GO VOLS. My Dad played football for East Tennessee. He played high school football with Coach Fulmer.....he said he still owes the man one for jamming his neck in practice once.
