Commerce City (CO) PD

Any information from the CO cops about CCPD's work load, morale, salary, equipment, management support, schedules etc would be appreciated.

I've been on a few calls with those guys and was recently in a training class with a couple of their guys. CCPD is extremely busy. They are probably the busiest agency in Adams County, per officer. They will chase anything that runs and do just about anything. The guys seem to enjoy working their. The complained about their administration but I'm sure everybody does. Their salary is comparable to area agencies. I think they usually run 6 or 7 officers for about 30k residents. Half of the city is horribly run down, and the other half (north area) is pretty nice. It's like two seperate cities. They work lots of wrecks on hwy 85.
