Hello from the bluegrass state(Kentucky)

I just received my "Account validated" e-mail and now I can begin to post.

I would like to first say in the last 2 weeks I began reading Officer.com I have learned so much from rookies and veterans in their experiences and what to expect on several levels of the job.

I am in the very beginning stages of applying for the Louisville Metro Police Department in Kentucky. So, if anyone has advice or experience with the LMPD Academy or this dept. please feel free to express your thoughts.

Also, I will keep you up to date on my progress. I will turn in my packet for hire in 2 weeks. Thanks again
