Hey guys (and Gals), I'm brand new on this forum. I really want to become a Narc or SWAT, if not, I'll be a C.O. for CDC @ Folsom. I've always dreamt of being a cop, I'm a complete gun nut, I'm absolutely fascinated with them, I'm an avid shooter, and I just love the idea of police work in general. My name is Rob, I'm a really friendly person so if you ever wanna talk guns, or general shop on anything, you can hit me up on AIM...my screen name is rev0lt111, I'm rarely here, but when I am, I'm more than happy to chat with new people; or just start a thread about guns, and I'll be SURE to reply. I'm only 19 but I still love guns and I own a .300 Winchester Magnum and next on my buy list is a Springfield XD-40 (Fiance or father will buy, I'll just shoot it). I'm about 6'4" tall 280 lbs, kinda fat, but hey, I'm workin on it! Considering joining the military for more credentials for SWAT. Anyway, I'm friendly, I'm a musician, I love cars, guns, and women. Hit me up if you wanna chat, or if you're in the Sacramento area, message me about possibly going shooting sometime. Thanks for reading!

How about the USMC, they'll get the fat off you. Chill out on the gun and swat thing man, you have a few years before you worry about either one. Why don't you start with a little studying here 1st at my website because the 1st weapon an officer uses in any fight is his brain. Everything you need to know is in the files section.

you got some high hopes. thats good. put in that application for CDC when you get close to turning 20. the whole process takes about a year before you go to the academy. you have to be 21 to get in. by the time you complete the application process, you should be 21. CDC has a lot to offer. great pay, great retirement, great experiances. heres some advise. stay in school and take a criminal justice class that relates to corrections. they have an "intro to corrections" at sac city college. that will earn points on you initial application. it also looks good when you have at least 60 units of college. once you put some time in as a C/O you can apply to be a parole agent, SSU agent, gang investigator, fugitive apprehention team member, SERT member, etc, etc. Welcome and Good luck! any questions about it just ask. i'm a CO at Pelican Bay right now, but hoping to transfer to the Sac area.
