Current LEO in SW Florida with 7 years experience - applied with them in 2003 and also got dropped after the MMPI - very hard to swallow. I was not impressed with the hiring process or the professionalism of the department, but that is another story.
Have a lot of information of the department if you want to PM me - I also grew up in the area.

I am from wisconsin and went thru the process last year. I think it is an excellent department to work for, I still have friends that work there. I also was dropped after mmpi which I think is totally ridicoulous, the test is all speculative. I took six 300 mile trips down there to get dropped at that point. also very hard pill to swallow

Heard of to many people having problems with that department's process. I was dropped there twice but offered a position with ISP. Surely, FWPD isn't more elite than the state police. There is better departments in Indiana than FWPD. Try Fishers, Indianapolis, Marion Co., Noblesville, Carmel, Brownsburg, Speedway, ISP, Evansville, New Albany.
