Have any of you ever heard of this website
California Organization of Police and Sheriffs
http://www.cops.cc/
I can't get it to come up on my computer screen. All that comes up is a white "main" page. Can any of you get it to work and has anyone ever heard of it.
Thanks,

I have heard of it, althought I don't recall they are very influential in California. I have no problem with the website, WWW.cops.cc/.

3B, do you know if you have Java Script enabled on your computer? Looks like the site is pretty Java intensive.
The link worked for me and I have never heard of the organization before.

You don't want to disable it, you want to keep it. I was making sure you had it so you could see the site. From here it's not very easy to tell why it's not coming up.

I do have McAfee Personal Firewall.
Do you think that might affect it.

I've not only heard of it, but I work for one of the two organizations who originally founded it, San Francisco and Long Beach PD's! Initially it was an organization of local police associations, similar to PORAC. They eventually affliated with a national organization, IUPA, and the AFL-CIO. Over the years their influence waned and we (LBPD) disassociated from them. I have never looked at their web site since becoming computer literate.
