I'm just wondering if anyone has heard any news about the past entry level LE test, or if anyone has accepted any positions.

Thanks.

Yes, I've heard from several agencies; my local PD, JJC, and OC Corrections. I'm currently in app./BI process with 2 of them. Have you heard anything yet?

i havent heard from anyone yet which is a bumout. what was your score for the exam? mine was in the early 80s. my cousin is a cop in harrison and says usually you have to score in the 90s to hear from anyone. i know the town i am in and newark only allow residents from i think the 3 towns surrounding it. other than that, i applied to everything down the line except corrections. ive heard horror stories from friends that are on the job. he said unless you plan on spending 20yrs being a babysitter, stay away from corrections. hopefully i hear something soon.

cheers

I also heard that you need to be in the 90's to hear from anyone. It's very competitive; a lot more people took the test this past year than they expected. That's why it was delayed until the Fall and not held in the Spring like it usually is. I scored an 85 on the 2002 LEE, and I didn't hear from any agencies. This time around I scored a 94. Even with a 94, there are a lot of people ahead of me. Did you study for the test or take any prep courses?
