Anyone on this board currently employed as a CIA or NSA officer?(SPO)
Just wanted to contact for info....by private or email, or message board.
Would like any info other than what the websites have.
Thanks
Does anyone know what jurisdiction NSA Police have other then just the NSA complex? Curious if they qualify as Federal?
They have a substantial bonus offer for new hires going on now

Maybe they should hire some Saudis or Pakistanis! That way the "sleepers" don't have to go very far before they make a move! Do I sound bitter "YES!" Our government didn't see fit to change Military Regulation/Policy 8 years after an Eastern Block turned away from communisim where I had the misfortune of being born! Consequently as an Officer with Top Secret Clearence I didn't qualify to be an OSI Investigator! Go figure! I think most federal agencies especially the CIA is a joke! See: The Middle East miscalculation and their failure to predict the fall of Communisim in Russia!!! How about our home grown spies (borned and raised here). Need I say more! BE SAFE!!!

GPOC, looks like he's trolling.....
Back to the topic at hand. They are Feds and only do their thing on NSA property. I was an MP at Ft. Meade a while back and they had all kinds of cool equiptment, got paid well, etc.....but were limited to what and where they could do it.

A rant.
If I had my choice, Id go with CIA SPS as they have more jurisdiction than NSA police. NSA is pretty much limited to their little world on Ft. Meade. Yes NSA guys are federal.

Not sure if CIA has more ground to cover than the NSA but I do know that they both have damn nice equiptment. One of my buddies when to training a couple of weeks ago at the CIA Police Dept. and said that they had tons of very, very nice equiptment. He said he was very envious of them because of that. They were very envious of him because he works for US Park Police in DC and gets to hunt the entire DC area for the most part.
Not sure about what NSA allows for moving around once you are hired but I know from talking to my buddy that the CIA will let you apply for transfers around the agency once you put in 36 months.
Good luck on whatever you decide....

CIA has several facilities spreadout through VA. Plus have their section of Langley which they patrol. Nothing like going to one of their buildings and seeing someone with an uzi asking for your ID.Then again you can see that at the mint.

Both sound like Federal Reserve Police, lots of power, very, very limited area of operations.

If your over 37, I wouldnt waste your time. However you can go to cia.gov or nsa.gov and they should tell you how to apply.

Actually, the CIA police and NSA police don't have an age cutoff because they aren't 6(c) covered, so age has no bearing on being police officers with these agencies. Half my class was CIA police when I went through fletc and the money isn't bad, equipment okay, but standing post and hanging out at one location all day did not appeal to me. They seem to lure them in with the possiblity of becoming agents in the future. A prestigouis job with a large amount of security work in very limited locations.
